A forgotten holocasut film which i really liked, and which iam quite sure the Pianist as much as i love took things from.

Alex is an 11-year old boy who, during WWII, hides in the Jewish ghetto from Nazis after all the relatives have been sent to the concentration camp. The movie portrays the ghetto through his eyes.

This film was shown on TV one Saturday afternoon. I had no intention of watching it but after catching the first ten minutes I decided I'd give it a go - and I'm glad I did. It's based, in part, on the author's real-life experiences and, as such, is all the more amazing to watch....( read more)
