May 14, 2007I can watch this movie over and over and I still CRY everytime. I can relate to this movie as Asian-American daughter of an Asian immigrant mother. I understand the daughters situation and the stories of the mothers make me understand mine more. But i think any mom and daughter...( read more)

March 17, 2007Watching the movie gave a perspective on why there are a lot of overseas chinese in the world, and yes including in the philippines...and the adjustments they have to make that even to the point of breaking tradition.
