Critic Reviews from Rotten Tomatoes

"An ugly, low budget noir that...somehow manages to capture the spirit of Jim Thompson's writing."
‑ Josh Ralske, All Movie Guide
"It's rare that a woman directs a noir film and especially one as hard-boiled as this one."
‑ Dennis Schwartz, Ozus' World Movie Reviews
