Former slacker Simon Geist finally thinks he's found his niche when he becomes a sort of performance artist, running about L.A. interviewing talented young musicians, actors and models for his new magazine The Next Big Thing . The joke is that the magazine does not exist and that Geist uses his interviews to cruelly comment upon the other artists' careers and degrade them with his acid wit. His pal and biggest fan Darla, is awestruck by the seeming profundity of Simon's barbed comments upon the need for fame. His new lover Tedra, a model, is not so easily impressed and sees right… More
