Before he can recover the loot, three more murders are committed to cover up the tracks of the person in possession of the money. Two B-picture icons, Adele Mara and Ann Savage, weave in and out of the proceedings. Among the suspects are veterans Tom Powers and Sheldon Leonard and relative newcomer John Dehner.
