April 26, 2009OMFG let me just tell you its my favorite movie along with sweeney todd im 13 and i just love gory movies personally i think this movie was awesome. i recommened this movie to everyone the only thing i didnt like was the rape i dont like rapes in any movie its disturbing i cant handle it s i ddint look and i plugged my ears hahaha but it was AMAZING 1 trillion/5 stars :DD

I loved the last house on the left!!!! Although I never saw the original....this movie had me talking to the film, and totally in tune with what was going on.If you want to see a movie that keeps you interested....this is the one for you. The rape scene is a bit much, but if you can make it past that....the movie is great?

April 10, 2009My friend and I were both looking forward to seeing this, we liked the premise, and neither of us had seen the original. I typically like the concept of justice being dealt out to those who are evil or have done wrong...However, this movie is a little different from others. Maybe part of the problem is having not had a chance to read reviews before going, but I wasn't prepared for the BRUTAL nature of the rape scene. Perhaps for some people it's just a movie, but from the perspective of a real woman, this scene is a lot to handle unprepared. Overall, the acting was good, but I will never be able to watch this movie again. I came away feeling fairly sick to my stomach wishing I could 'unsee' this movie. Just be informed going in!

I cannot believe they are redoing this movie...i saw the original and back in the 70's it was scary...but then watched it again in the 90's and laughed all the way thru it...i wont go see this one,because i already know what happens.

This movie was Wes Cravens directorial debut back in the 70s. I just want to see how bad of remake this is going to be because lately the remakes of past horror movies have been a total bore.
