One should not make the mistake of comparing this to the masterpiece "Garden State" just because Zach Braff is in it, only the soundtracks are similarly excellent. No, "Last Kiss" has a whole different kind of approach to love and relationships. A circle of friends in their late ...( read more)

Everyone in this movie seems to be having problems with their relationships. Do I love her? Or do I need a fling with this hot chick? I don't think I would have taken Micheal (Zach Braff) back.

When you have an overrated director (Paul Haggis) being hired to adapt an original screenplay of an Italian romantic comedy, while the remake's lead actor (Zach Braff) happens to be one of the most talented and creative young people in that country, that's when you know something...( read more)

"A Serious, and Emotional comedy."
The last kiss is full og heartbreak, and the coming of age for a man, and his mid-life crises.

Life is hard and temptation is always right around the corner. Zach Braff, keep making movies.
Critic Reviews
... the movie occasionally reveals truths about relationships that, while not earth-shattering, are nonetheless entertaining and worth considering. full review
... The Last Kiss takes a serious look at what's too often described glibly as early midlife crisis, and it shows some courage in not tying up its stories neatly at the end. full review
... it would be nice to have some insight, and some artistry, along with the same old same old. The Last Kiss dispenses none of that. full review
As with Garden State and Elizabethtown, The Last Kiss is an iPod playlist in search of a movie, and what it loses in honest drama it will surely make up for in sales of the CD. full review
... sometimes feels like an entire season of a television series crammed into less than two hours, full of activity, but lacking shape.
Repackages messy human dilemmas into something neat, tidy and oh-so-manipulatively inspiring. full review
The Last Kiss can and should be appreciated as an uproarious comedy of sexual manners, but get past that layer and there's a darker, more pessimistic movie underneath. full review
The problem is that the movie has no idea of it is serious or not. full review
