A nice, simple idea has a group of women kidnapped, left in the desert and stumbling across a haunted house. The house forces them to undertake their greatest temptations. The Last Resort, unfortunately, is a cheap and tacky film. It has been desaturated to the point where the picture looks bleached. The acting verges on abysmal and there is no actual horror to speak of. It doesn't get going until halfway through, and even then it can hardly be said that it "takes off".
