    Great Cuban film that was unique in concept and foreign to the US movie market. Good time period to focus on.

    Tomas Gutierres Alea at its best!! Great historical movie. Colonial caribbean in the 18th century. The script is superb!

    its a pretty realistic movie but the best part is watching the people takl to each other. it hought it was goodb ecause it made them characters.
