I'd heard this was a classic and a must see, and although I'm 21, I still love kids movies with shameless abandon.

However, I wasn't quite feeling this. Not that it was BAD or incited me to make merciless fun of it, but it just didn't grab me, like say, Disney's Robin Hood. Go...( read more)od voice casting, though. I did find it would be too scary for me or my siblings had we been sat down to this at a young age. The Red Bull was freaking scary!

Man, we used to make fun of this movie so much.

Great fantasy story with a Unicorn as the main character. It's a distinct style of animation, but a beautiful film to watch.

I want to see this again...

It's true that it is somewhat dark. It says the word "damn" and shows a naked girl, and yet it's like a kids movie. Not to mention the entire theme and plot... *emits spoilers*

At any rate, it was a really good film.

As i said in my review, the poster featured here is very misleading. The film is actually quite dark, and a poster that will give you a better idea of what to expect can be found here ... http://www.impawards.com/1982/posters/last_unicorn.jpg
