In this one, they tried to play to comic book/scifi fans by having the story involve a meteorite which struck a Spanish camp and saved an Indian village long ago. However, they did a good job in maintaining western style action while only tipping their hat to scifi.

The Lone Ranger is a classic western super hero. I loved this film as a kid and still enjoy it today. Sure it was made in the 50's but it stills holds up today as a great western movie. The Lone Ranger, Tonto, Hi Ho Silver Away, and the silver bullets are all great and stuck in p...( read more)
