Critic Reviews from Rotten Tomatoes

"[A] sleazy little yarn."
‑ , Time Out
"A relentlessly stupid, consistently unconvincing piece of hack work. Worse still, it's not even good, overproduced trash."
‑ Joe Leydon, The Moving Picture Show
"There's a reason Pia is a Razzie icon."
‑ Andrea Chase, Killer Movie Reviews
"If The Lonely Lady had even a shred of style and humor, it could qualify as the worst movie of the year. Unfortunately, it's not that good."
‑ Roger Ebert, Chicago Sun-Times
"Who cares."
‑ , TV Guide's Movie Guide
"You've got to say this much for Miss Zadora: she's got spunk."
‑ Janet Maslin, New York Times
"a poorly acted, ineptly made and nearly incoherent piece of garbage that can't even properly exploit its star, which would seem to be the primary reason for its existence."
‑ James Sanford, James Sanford on Film
