This is my favorite movies...I am glad that all of you love them too...kissss
When I first heard that Peter Jackson was gonna do the trilogy I was very happy. Here is a guy who loved the books and had the resourses to pull it off. He did and went far beyond what I'm sure many of us LOTR fans had expected. The Return of the king is the best. I am glad they waiting this long to create these movies so that the imagery can come to life and make it look almost real...I am looking forward to The Hobbit in 2 parts. The book has so much in it that to pull it all off in 1 movie might be the longest movie Hollywood has ever had in theaters. He's doing it in 2 parts which is great...
'If all original thought and opinions fail, quote Clerks 2.'
Thats usually the way of the haters, when they can't think of any other way of pulling this cinematic masterpiece down.
The best trilogy I've ever seen. Only once in a great while a great movie comes along this is the only trilogy, that I think will ever come along.
my husband and i really loved this trilogy. we used to watch it over and over again. hope everyone likes it as much as we do.
I love the LOTR's trilogy. There is only one thing that disappointed me with the Return of the King, and that would be the ending when the Hobbits go back to the Shire and everything is the same as they left it, unlike the book. I think that took away from the purpose of the Hobbits going on the journey to destroy the ring because they did it to save the Shire. And they come back to being the same not really needing to be saved any more. But on a positive note, the rest of the movie was more than satisfing.
Seen it about 20 times and I still want to watch it again. It is the best of the three and the best movie ever created.
This is the best trilogy of all mankind, and between now to the day Hollywood is destroyed, they're would never will be a movie like it.
It's no wonder that I never get tired watching it over and over

I agree - how could anyone not like the LOTR movies. Great story, great direction, great acting, lots of action. The Return of The King is my favorite. I wish they were longer!

Squishy orc heads, fussy golums taking lava dips, vast empires falling subject to post war mental trama and unrepairable global infrastructure damage. Take one ring, toss it into a lake of magma, and the world is still in pieces. What could be more romantic, more satisfying than that! Special Note: Al Gore does not like the volcanic explosion...it could cause Middle Earth warming.
