I think the Two Towers stayed true to the book as well as it could without having it be too long. They made the movie enjoyable for people who have and haven't read the books.

The best part of an amazing trilogy.
Peter Jackson set a new standard for films that still to this day none come close.

Harry potter only whish's to be LOTR.
The best movie to come from a book.

One movie to rule them all.

frankly omena i'm not okay with you! Of course the movie isn't completely like the book but no one can transfigure completely such an incredibly dense story and plot into a movie even a 3 hours one! The 6 hours version is better if it's possible but i think Peter Jackson did a great job!!! No movie can respect entirely the book it is taken from! It's impossible to play every little scene, every little event! Tolkien wouldn't be rolling in his grave, that's just mean! You can't compare a movie to a book!

Omena needs glasses to see that Peter Jackson couldn't have done every word in the book by the book! Pay no attention to him. The movie is awesome!

Such a bad movie!!! Ok, the visual effects are astonishing but what would Tolkien think about it????He's probably rolling over in his grave... It doesn't respect at all the book! And it's the same for the following Peter Jackson's movies!!! Bwark!

I love this movie, but I was forced to see it. I was hoping to wait until the lst installment was in theaters, before seeing the second one, cause cliffhangers drive me nuts. Still I love it
