  It wasn't too bad even though didn't go into it expecting too much. WWE wrestler Ted DiBiase Jr.'s acting was okay. He didn't have many lines. No worse than the acting in most other action flicks. He wasn't as stiff an actor as John Cena. Enjoyable action flick. Worth a shot. Storyline was what you would expect. Camera work was good. DiBiase Jr. did kick some butt. <i>The Marine 2</i> also has the distinction of having one of the most blandest villains I have ever seen in Temuera Morrison.

  I saw the FIRST one.ENJOYED the first one....I expected for this sequel to be an extreme mental/emotional dynamite...BUT...I was disappointed! The first one was so much better and believable with John Cena. This one with Ted DiBiase Jr...Would have worked if Ted wasn't soooo...serious in this role. It will do for a sequel...BUT...I expected better.

  The Marine 2, released on December 29, 2009, stars WWE superstar Ted DiBiase Jr(son of the Million Dollar Man) in the lead role. Unlike the original, it was released direct-to-DVD. DiBiase stars as recon sniper Joe Linwood whose off-duty vacation to Thailand with his wife finds them embroiled in the middle of a hostage situation at the massive resort at which they're staying. When a separatist group sieges the resort during its gala opening, Linwood's wife is among the hostages and Linwood escapes to plan the eventual rescue mission. The Marine 2, in an R-rated, 90-minute bout of semi-constant ass-kicking but this wrestler-turned-action star lacks the intimidating visual presence of somebody like John Cena. However I do love action films and this one was pretty entertaining.

  "The Marine 2" was a surprisingly good guy action movie, I thought this movie was just going to be a cheap action movie, and nothing better then the first one but for my surprise it is a lot better than the original which I didn´t like it at all. Nothing amazing or origina but really good and entertaining.

  Ted DiBiase Jr. stars in this made for DVD sequel to the John Cena movie. He stars as a Marine who's wife is taken on hostage by terrorists when they are on vacation at a resort. With the help of a former soldier (Michael Rooker), DiBiase gets the weapons he needs to rescue his wife and the other hostages. DiBiase can't act and I'm not sure if Marine's learn how to do drop kicks. Yet, I think this movie was better than the first. I just remember the first being goofy with Cena taking out the bad guys one by one after they conveniently wondered away to go do something. I think this movie was at least done better than that since DiBiase has to use his sniper skills to take out some of the many terrorists. While Michael Rooker always manages to make a bad movie a little interesting just by being in it.
