Didn't really understand the last part of the movie where they present the gun's real history to Jerry...

The movie cannot be taken too seriously (yet it is not a comedy either). A fun watch, but not a movie you yearn to see time after time.

Fine acting, and a wicked plot.

It is nice to see how the same story differs when told by one person and then the other; everyone has their own version - and usually none of them is correct.

Whiny people in sticky situations learn about what love is. A bit stylish with the history flashbacks too.

Really great screenplay! I loved the mind games Gore Verbinski threw at you and the whole story about the pistol was really romantic, (I liked the end =D).

I LOVE Brad Pitt and Julia Roberts is amazing in this movie. It is an instant classic and everytime I see on television, I have to stop and watch it!

A contrived plot about a stolen anituqe gun, not an actual Mexican person, takes DiCaprio (badly miscast and unconvincing), and Julia Roberts (also miscast and embarrassingly annoying), to the brink of guy vs. girl insanity. The trouble is the hideous script though, which apparently seems to be about bickering more than an actual road trip crime satire.

This has copped a little bit from critics but I like it. Great cast and interesting story bound together by a very good director.

Brad plays a hopeless fool who always gets into trouble. He does one last job in Mexico with disastrous consquences. While Julia gets kidnapped by a hitman. Brad and Julia have great chemistry.

Could've been better. Gandolfini was awesome. I really felt something for him in the movie. Pitt was great as a man trying to hold it all together.

You'd think with this kind of story and these two leads the movie would be really good, but it's not, it's just boring...

This film was ok. I dont think that the performances from Brad Pitt was good at all. Julia Roberts was quite good though. I have seen her and Brad Pitt in better films though. The action in this film is good though. The plot is very weak and strange. He goes to Mexico to find a gun and come back. Not that well directed by Gore Verbinski either really.

I love both Brad Pitt and Julia Roberts. But I just couldn't understand where this movie was coming from and where it was driving at. Even though, I really liked how the film looked and the assassin that was sent to kill Julia Roberts was hilarious.

Julia Roberts and Brad Pitt actually went pretty well. I enjoyed it, there's not many films of Brad's that I do enjoy anymore.

With a cast like this I thought that the story should be more interesting, but unfortunately I couldn't care less about the characters. I had a hard time finding the funny elements as well so despite good acting and nice environments it's doubtful if The Mexican is worth watching.

I really don't understand this movie. When I first buy the dvd, i thought that ,"Wow this movie will rock! Because the actor and actress who play there are so good". But, eventually when i watch the first 30 minutes, i fell to sleep. God!!!!
