MCT:August 21, 2008You only have to glance at the synopsis to have shown to you just how inexplicable the greatness that is The Mighty Boosh actually is. The show has become something of a legend in this new era of british comedy, Fielding and Barratt having unofficially announced themselves as the most bizarre comedy duo yet seen on screen. 'The Mighty Boosh Live' is basically a sequence of scenes from the shows, and it's not fantastic since they are not the best improvisers and it's all been seen before anyhow, but it doesn't really matter if you are already a fan, it's just a bit of added fun that does no harm...

A show that we can't get here in the US because it's on BBC 3 in the UK, and we don't get that channel over here. GREAT show! One of my favorites.

OH MY SWEET LORD! If you have not seen the Mighty Boosh in action you must get a copy as soon as possible!! Being the best comedy show ever, the mighty boosh is probably the most random show you will ever see. The episodes are better than the live show espeically seasons one and two...going to see the boosh live in october cant wait i say!!! Julian Barratt and Noel Fielding are the best comedy duo ever.....YEAH! COME WITH US ON A JOURNEY THROUGH TIME AND SPACE TO THE WORLD OF THE MIGHTY BOOSH!!!! :D

The Mighty Boosh is a cult British sitcom that can be best described as Morecombe and Wise meets Eddie Izzard via Monty Python. With songs. Although to the uninitiated it probably resembles a day out for mental patients who have just raided a fancy dress shop and put on a school pantomime. Because of it's rather improvised nature, it is a little hit and miss but, like all of the above comedy shows, if you "get" it, you learn to love it...hence it's HUGE cult following in Britain.

I love the Mighty Boosh. I love the series and this Live show. Both are utterly amazing. Noel Fielding is so funny. And together with Julian Barrett they make a great pair. The characters are just brilliant. I love The Moon. It is very simple comedy and a tad stupid but it is just so effective. It has a lot to do with Fielding and Barrett. They work really well together and the comic timing is always very good. It's worth seeing at least one episode of the tv show and if you like that then you'll love this.

Having enjoyed the TV series, it is with a sad heart that i must say that the live show didn't quite live (if you'll excuse the pun) to the TV show. It was somewhat hit and miss, it had its good moments but it just didn't keep the momentum going all the way through. Perhaps it works best as a half hour show format. That said, I did enjoy seeing Rudi and Dixon (unfortunately Dixon was under used). Regrettably the shear brilliance of the show makes you somewhat more critical of the live show.
Worth 3.5 stars just for Rudi! -

THIS IS HONESTLY THE FUNNIEST THING I'VE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE! It will have you rolling in fits of laughter, non stop comedy and it won't lose its charm even towards the 5th time round... Hilarious. 5stars

The television series are a must see,
the best episodes being "The Nightmare of Milky Joe" and "The Hitcher". Live is best watched after you have seen both seasons. -

"The Mighty Boosh". Just the title perks up my interest and tips me into fanboy heaven. A victim to the charm I may be, but there's no doubt that this live show is the best stand-up out there.
Tip for you all: before watching this - watch the TV series! Many jokes centre around characters' adventures in the show, and also play on existing jokes (such as Naboo's "turning my back on you now..."), so if you watch the live before, it'll be a pretty futile 2 hours of your life.
So get out there, watch the TV series, then buy the live - it will provide the most surreal hours of your life you will ever bear witness to.

the funniest live show i have ever seen in my life i watched it about 500 times in the first 2 weeks of getting it! although you need to have a surreal sense of humour and you have to have seen the mighty boosh tv show...it wont make any sense at all otherwise,and also noel fielding is extremely hot so watch it just to see him! :P
