A mad scientist injects a concert pianist with an acromegaly virus (!) to pressure the virtuoso's daughter to marry him. Dull at first, but the ELEPHANT MAN-style makeup and an inexplicable gorilla salvage some small amount of entertainment value in the late reels.

The fantastic performances of J. Carrol Naish and Ralph Morgan make this decent but kinda bland B-movie worthwhile. Although the really fake-looking ape suit is a real hoot.

It's a decent story and the acting is pretty good considering it's a low budget B-Movie horror but it is also a little dull. There are two great performances here though from Ralph Morgan and J. Carrol Naish.

A mad scientist goes around making people he doesn't like into monsters, he loves a girl and makes her father sick so he can be near her. Gee, I wonder why she doesn't love you? This is a stupid movie.
