Critic Reviews

  • Carrie R. Wheadon, Common Sense Media

Pippi's spirit shine through in OK '80s version.

  • Steve Crum, Video-Reviewmaster.com

More sticky sweet, ie grating, adventures with Pippi. Kids might enjoy it still.

  • Alex Sandell, Juicy Cerebellum

Slightly entertaining, in a really stupid way.

I watched this a long time ago when I was a kid, so I don't really remember it, but I think it was okay, not so good that I remembered everything about it, but not so bad that I wanted to forget it, so, yeah, it's okay.

This film adaptation of Astrid Lindgren's tale is pretty good adventure and funny. When I was 13 years old, this time spunky but lovable Pippi is a brat who manages to give me ideas about driving adults over the edge.

  • Lafe F

It does not have the charm of the original Swedish Pippi films. The songs are annoying.

  • Quinto W

To this day, after watching it over and over as a child, I can't believe this film exists.
