Middle of the road on this one. I liked it, but it was very confusing and hard to follow until the end when it started to piece together. I liked all the various roles done by each of the four main characters. Interesting!

I admire the idea and creativity of this movie. However, this movie seems a little ambitious for what they were able to pull off. The film comes off as low budget and more tv quality than movie. The film is often confusing and doesn't make much sense until the end. Reynolds d...( read more)oes a solid job of acting and surprisingly shows some diversity. High scores for creativity, but I feel this could have been a lot better. This might be worth the watch if you are looking for something a little different from your normal movie.

"Um, I'm kind of having a medical situation. I don't have a belly button."

"The Nines" has basically an interesting idea with deep themes, but it just gets weirder and weirder. It's too surrealistic and fails in every imagined ways. In the end, it's just another preposterous movie that had potential but bombed. Big.

This would have been better left in dreamland logic. I kept telling myself I wanted some kind of explanation, but when it came I was disappointed. Good movie though. Charlie Kaufman meets David Lynch.

Odd but entertaining with Ryan Reynolds doing an excellent job of playing three roles that may or not may not be connected to each other.
It's a rather convoluted plot that has a rather underwhelming resolution yet somehow it seems to work.
At least it did for me.

Fascinating drama/thriller with a brilliant performance from Ryan Reynolds playing three different characters whose lives intertwine in an interesting and unexpected way as we find out the answer to the question; what are The Nines? A compelling film and a pleasant suprise.
