April 8, 2007Hey everyone I like this movies because it shows how people at that age forget what their life was really all about and what happened and why it did...Sometimes you may not rememeber anything at all but someone always knows the awsner .... I thought it was sad but good .... I felt bad for the lady who had no idea that story was about her and her husand the who is reading to her....Anyway I love this movie.....

April 5, 2007This is what movies do to us. make us wish for something that may never happen. I LOVE 'The Notebook'. in every sense it is heartfelt. Highly EMOTIONAL! You watch 'The Notebook' and you're like "damn". This is a terrific movie!

March 30, 2007I dont really like romantic films or romcoms but this is SO special and have a nice but sad twist. So ppl who grade it under 3 are maybe too young to understand it or just stupid :D Bad actors my ass :D If you work with this problem daily as i do you would love this film.

March 29, 2007Nicholas Sparks is a brilliant novelist, with bestsellers such as A Walk to Remember, Message in a Bottle, and of course, The Notebook, to his name. Sadly, The Notebook the movie was a really (really) bad translation from the original novel. The essence of the whole book is distorted by mediocre acting and uninspired scene-jumping. The director wasn't suited for the role, and the actors did not project the emotional intensity of the original novel. I only heard about the movie maybe months ago. Evidently, it wasn't such a hit, unlike the book which boasts bestsellers and top 10s. I encourage all of you who enjoyed watching this movie to read the book! You'll know what I'm talking about!

My fav. movies are romantic comedies, but this one takes the cake. IT is absolutely beautiful the love they share, and it proves that love is NOT PERFECT...the part where she is reading what he wrote about what love is in the car, wow, it is sooo moving, and then the end where they died together, i have to cry when i see it. I want that kind of love! I have to say, this is now my fav. romance ever! :)

My boyfriend who loves action, Italian and war films was taken by this movie. It was the first time that he did not fall asleep and admitted that it was a great movie. it brought us both a tear in our eyes. I was impressed that he actually liked it and saw it till the end. -
