We used to see this in elementary school in music class and, like the stage ballet, has boring parts and parts that are just amazing.

I saw this live when I was little. I wonder if Macaulay Culkin was the Nutcracker Prince then? It is a really good ballet and brings back good memories.

Very nice and a very young Macaulay is very surreal to look at knowing he's famous for "Home Alone".

January 18, 2007I Agree With you All And I Love the Movie and This is The Only Ballet Christmas Story And I Love the Music! But if you want to see the Best Nutcracker Ballet,You Would of Love the one with Mikhail Baryshnikov & Gelsey Kirkland Play The story Much Better And it was More Longer And more people Dancing And it really Felt like a Dream! So try to look for it at a suncoast Video Store or maybe Online, I had it and I Lost it And it was The Best One I seen. I bought it from Columbia The one with Macaulay Culkin And It was Good and he was adorable and yes He did a Good Job And it was Good for kids, But It wasn't the same as Mikhail Baryshnikov & Gelsey Kirkland it was for adults, But No worries it wasn't porn! It was Good for all Ages, But Much Better and Longer And More dancing Couples! I rated this Nutcracker then 10 for the Adult Version! So be care do not But it from Columbia House, They really screw up On The Preview Video And got the 2 Movies mix up In a Dvd Case!
