Her disbelieving husband Ray (Roger Neil) thinks that she's gone insane, but Jenny is enlisted by the spirit to avenge his asphyxiation by his wife's greedy lover and a hulking lesbian assassin. This gory, dreadful disaster has little to recommend it to the average viewer. Inept special-effects and obnoxious characters combine to make The Oracle cult-director Roberta Findlay's worst film in recent memory. Gore devotees and bad-film buffs, however, will enjoy Powers' hysterical performance, a pair of brutal stabbing deaths, a really phony puppet-corpse, and a bizarre, campy turn by Pam La Testa as Farkas, the transvestite lesbian killer. Others will want to stay away. ~ Robert Firsching, Rovi
