Absolutely loved it. What rivals. Great story and to think its a true story of how queen Elizabeth was born.

I don't even know where to begin...How far does a member have to go to prove their obligation and loyalty to the family?

Glad I wasn't born in this era and my daughters too.Would never sell my children for status or rewards..That part really sickened me but it happens today.

Great movie w/ some historical facts...

Possibly the worst adaptation of a book ever. If you hadn't read the book, you probably wouldn't understand the characters' motivations for half the things that go on, and the other half are either completely irrelevant to the story they follow, or completely missing.

How the author of this book gets away with her contrived nonsense is beyond me, and apparently it is also beyond these film-makers.

I did not want to see this at all. However, my friends dragged me in to it, and I ended up really loving it. It's probably my favorite history movies of all time and the additions in it were great. The love stories going on and the tricks that King Henry and the Boleyns play are all real history.

The acting was great and the performances made me feel like I was actually back in time experiencing history being made. The cast was lovely (Eric Bana =D), the story was interesting, and the acting was out of this world.

I recommed this movie to those people who want to watch those forbidden love stories or want a little taste of history. You'll really come out loving it!

It's a period piece so the costumes are beautiful, the sets are amazing. The acting is good from everybody involved and the plot is engaging with all it's twists and turns in this movie about power struggles.

For my dramatized history of the King Henry, I prefer Showtime's The Tudors. Some of the acting is a bit stiff in this film but overall it's an OK movie.

Highly entertaining, raw, and tragic story. It almost played like a horror movie; several characters transform into monsters unleashing their inner torments and pursuing their most cruel objectives. I loved the ending.

I was ecpeting this moive to be so much beter. Scarlett Johansson and Eric Bana were not very good but Natalie Portman was alot better then she she was in Star Wars II.

"A Outra" pode não manter-se fiel a história, mas é uma trama bem amarrada e contada com fluidez, além de contar com um desempenho exemplar de Natalie Portman.

WOW - This movie was crazy! I really loved the loyalty between the sisters whether it was in good or bad times! I absolutely wanted to bawl at the end, but I held it in. I thought it was a pretty good movie. Infact, I'd watch it again. But WOW! I really loved Natalie already. I loved Scarlet in it too which is weird - I can't stand her anywhere else! AND OMG GEORGE :(

The fact that it was different than the book annoyed me at times, but I was impressed with how gorgeous everything looked, and Natalie was a pretty good Anne.

I think this film is well done. The casting is fantastic, and costumes out standing. I believe it was true to the book, but history... not so much.

It was weird to see Natalie Portman playing the villain in this role. There sure was alot of corruption in the monarchy.

simplyfying a complicate history is good, but when it's too simple?
well still good for the lazy-yet-wanted-to-know-little-something-about-something...

i found this a very interesting and memorable movie. some of the scenes with natalie portman and eric bana were sad at times and I could still remember hours after seeing the movie. a story of love, betrayal and family ambitions that makes you think of those times in a different way. i'm a big fan of natalie portman and her performance is great as always, her portrayal of anne boleyn gives an emotional spin on a woman who influenced one of the biggest changes in england's history,

This movie was quite interesting and powerful around the emotional area.

It portrayed, I thought, a nasty view of mankind's greedy ambitions and the overall weakness of men. Even though it is set in the past, there's not much difference in these sentiments in the present.

Viewed this film over weekend and liked it ; but was expecting much more . Had read the book and looked forward to seeing what the film was like. While not near the quality of the book, the film was acceptable. Portman did a wonderful preformance as Anne.

god such a dissapointment. I'm usually a sucker for anything involving the Tudors. but this was awful. Two great actresses and still the movie sucked. Apart from knowing the ending beforehand, I didn't get a feel for the time period. They could have added some more emphasis on making the veiwer experiance what it's like during that time like in Elizabeth. no good.

Left a lot of things unanswered. I only knew what was going on because I'd read the book. Confusing to anyone who hasn't.
