The musical numbers were not really that entretaining and they were a little out of place. Specially the one that pedro does after shagging Sonia. However the characters are lovable and endearing, even as disfunctional as they are. And the fight between Pedro and Javier is so funny. I liked the ending, it was believable, once a cheater, always a cheater.

nice movie, really entertaining. the dancing and singing things was actually good, some of the music reminded me of jarabe de palo.

Immoral, soapy, quite hilarious. Not great, but entertaining complicated "square" relationship between buddies.

I liked this film, it was funny and clever, and the musical parts were beautiful. Although the actors weren't pro but they were all great.

Tu me quitas la palabra y yo te doy conversación, vas a ver que luna de miel. etc. Las canciones son buenas, son pegajosas y el clásico enamoramiento entre amigos, :P

I bought this one about 5 years ago but I just saw it yesterday for the first time. My expectations weren't too high. Why? Because for one weird reason, everyone that borrowed this movie from me hated it! After the first half of the first song, I HAD ALREADY FALLEN IN LOVE WITH VERBEKE! and with the movie hahaha but mostly with Natalia Verbeke... It's actually a pretty funny, hilarious and so sexy musical that excels in so many levels it's hard not to fall in love with it and its characters. The songs are marvelously chosen (as most of them aren't originals) and the choreographies are cool but one bad thing that turns people away is the singing voices of the non-singers lead roles. They're not perfect but a little bit odd and people reacts badly to it but this is actually to create the effect of weirdness, loneliness and desperation. Sexy sexy sexy and cool cool cool... Nice!

Not a bad spanish rom-com but I was a little put off by all the song and dance numbers to be honest, something I have never been a fan off unless it's an ourtight musical. The movie revolves around the adulterous liasons between two couples and the effects it has on their relationships. At some points it is rather funny and I was drawn to the characters but every time they started up one of those darn song and dance numbers I was turned off again and couldn't really get into the story with all that happening. I did get to see Paz Vega topless, which is something you don't see everyday ;) It's a decent Spanish film but nowhere near the best. Having said that I think this is one of the first Spanish comedies I have seen so will be interesting to see how it stacks up against future films.

Sparklingly clever and funny, this is a relationships comedy in an almost opera bouffe style with a measured dose of slapstick. Music - songs with funny lyrics (you have to follow the subtitles carefully)- and sprightly choreography more than highlight the story. Martinez-Lazaro creatively uses song and dance to bridge narrative portions, summarize a fast shifting plot-line and bring the viewer along in what otherwise would, however good the acting, be a fairly conventional and oft-told story of couples checking out their best friends in the sack. "The Other Side of the Bed" seems a bit like a Spanish Woody Allen film and "Everyone Says I Love You" springs first to mind. But this isn't a derivative take on a terrific Woody flick. Martinez-Lazaro has neither patience with nor interest in Allen's quest to uncover every known neurosis (no one in this film is remotely anhedonic) nor does he look for barely concealed powerful emotions as Almodovar does.
Definitely give it a go, its lots of fun.........oh, and ya get to see Paz Vega topless, its worth it just for that!
