Critic Reviews from Rotten Tomatoes

"John Cleese upstages everyone as an arrogant New York hotel manager. His zany dancing in women's clothes brings back memories of those Monty Python silly walks sketches."
‑ Betty Jo Tucker, ReelTalk Movie Reviews
"Faltou um diretor que, ao contrário de seus personagens, não estivesse completamente perdido."
‑ Pablo Villaca, Cinema em Cena
"The Kellermans are played without much chemistry by Steve Martin and Goldie Hawn."
‑ Steve Rhodes, Internet Reviews
"This film has good matinee potential, if you're dying for an above-average comedy with Cleese in full drag. Otherwise, rent it."
‑ Widgett Walls,
"Too much of the time the glow of the pair is dimmed by the labored slapstick and painful groaners."
‑ Michael Dequina,
"How much you enjoy this 'Out-of-Towners' will have a lot to do with how many times you can laugh at what amounts to a series of variations on the same joke."
‑ James Sanford, Kalamazoo Gazette
"toggles between the tedious and the hilarious"
‑ Ross Anthony, Hollywood Report Card
"The whole thing feels so staged that I expected to see cue cards somewhere in the background."
‑ Alex Sandell, Juicy Cerebellum
"Awful remake of the hilarious Neil Simon original"
‑ Jon Niccum, Lawrence Journal-World
"For all the connection the current reprise has to reality, it could be called The Out-of-Touch."
‑ Harry Haun, Film Journal International
"Fast-paced and enjoyable enough, aided by the dynamite duo of Steve Martin and Goldie Hawn."
‑ Dustin Putman,
