This biritsh murder mystery has much to be desired! Its confusing with all the maths talk that just makes me feel dumb although i quite enjoyed the storyline it was a bit far fetched towards the end that just made this film seem pointless boring and ridicullas!!

Even if you liked murder mysteries, you'd feel let down after this. Although quite clever,and the chemistry between Hurt and Wood was great. The film was boring with a pointless relationship between Wood and Watling!
an original take on murder mysteries, and might I add.. on life as well. I like playing 'round with philosophy on life, so does this movie.. is it the butterfly or is it math? you decide.. this movie really does not help much in answering it though.. but hey, thats life!

This film was poor. Not only the acting was bad, but the script and direction as well. It was dull and unimaginative and I recommend that you should avoid this one.

Very english murder mystery.Nice performance for hurt and wood.Is a bit dull in places but other wise a ok movie.Like it if you are into miss marple or inspector morse crime mysterys.
An utterly dull movie where the most interesting parts were discarded to make this into a pastiche of discursive explorations and bland detective-work, where there was no point for either the audience or anyone else for that matter.

It was quite good, with a brilliant twist at the end. Elijah Wood is OK in it but they could have done better. John Hurt did, probably, the best acting in the movie. And I've got it on DVD so I'll watch it again some time.
