    An exceptional adaptation in terms of both the novel and the musical.

    What an amazing joy ride. The cast was wonderful, they hit them all on the nail. The performances are very memorable and I was very surprised about some of them.     visually stunning musical epic. however there's nothing more to relish than the visuals. even minnie drivers part is boring in it. the songs are all similar at best

    It's sort of like the shot-for-shot remake of Psycho. What's the point? This is just a clumsy, tedious, and altogether inferior version of the great Andrew Lloyd Webber musical.

    Fabulous visuals of Gothic romance, thanks to roses, sets, costumes and photography, fabulous music and Beauty and the Beast-like story - although "hot" (or not) Gerard Butler is miscast in the role of monstrously UGLY man.
