I loved The Phantom of the Opera with Gerry Butler. I Have The Phantom of the Opera on DVD. In The Phantom of the Opera I liked The Phantom, Christine, Raoul, Meg and Madame Giry.

January 14, 2009seeing Michael Crawford in the original PBS broadcast was enough to enrapture my interest. Gerard Butler only secured my heartfelt journey FOREVER!

Gerard Buttlers voice is so mesmorising. i dont eve think that his face looked that bad. i cried both times Christine broke his heart. i think that she loved him in secret. if only Raul didnt come along phantom would have been able to keep Christine. but Gerard is so HOTT!!!!!!

July 1, 2008I loved this fanominal movie it is so interesting i loved all the music i think i really just love the music alot more though as well as the romance in it but because i was singing in honor chior and i never herd of the phantom of the opera so i was like omg what am i going to do and i learned to love the music is so good i love it! and christine has a beautiful vioce!and as does the phantom he has a very amazing vioce as well.

June 26, 2008I loved thismovie but hated how it ended! It would have been a wonderful movie, if the girl had choosen the phantom. Raul was ok but the phantom would have been a better choice.

February 5, 2008I absolutely love Gerard Butler - as Leonidas and Atilla the Hun, he was superb! However, I am not so sure that he would have been my first choice for the Phantom. His singing was OK, but for the type of songs necessary for Phantom, his voice was not powerful enough. He could not hit the high notes in the title song, but then, not everyone can be Michael Crawford (the original Phantom).
As for the girl who played Christine, I wondered if she was singing at times. She looked like she was miming; I know they would mime to their own singing while acting the parts, but they're not supposed to LOOK like they're miming, right? Ah well, Sarah Brightman, you were missed.
Overall, a good, but not great movie. -

August 15, 2007this film is defo 10/10 best musical ever i especially love gerard butlers performance on this i love emmy rossums voice every person in this film gives a 10/10 performance one of my favourite movies ever the atsmophere of this film is extremly legandary loved watching it at the pictures blew me away then came on dvd i just had to buy it reccomend this film to anyone love the music i have andrew lloyd webber to thank for that and i love the acting of all the actors made this film believeable my fav song in this is point of no return think its amazing its actully my favourte song film is 10/10 5 stars its amazing

I think Gerard did a great job playing the role of the Phantom, they did a great contrast with his voice and Patrick Wilson's because Gerard's voice (which I love best) is like rough and strong, Patrick's is like more soft. I didn't like that much Emmy's acting because I know that she had to be innocent but more than innocent she was like in her world, not living the moment. And Patrick's face in "Track Down This Muerdere, Down Once More" was most of repultion than of fear when Erick (The Phantom) was tying the rope to his neck. I love Gerard Butler! He's like WOW! My love! I love him I love his voice! I'm obssesed with him! I hate Christine's dessition! Without tought I would choose the Phantom because he is a genius! He sings, composes, does magic! *sigh* What does he not do? He's way better than Raoul! I almost forgot, in the poster they put the mask on the left side and it's on the right!

August 2, 2007Love it to death! The music, though opera, is still breath-takenly beautiful. The passoin between Christine and Raoul and Eric (the phantom) is just amazing and makes for a truely amazing film. It even adds a bit ov violence and gore for the guys ^.~

August 1, 2007This movie is pure ENCHANTING!!I loved it!!I almost cried at the end!!I totally despise Raol!! I hate him!!!The phantom was a much better choice!!But either way the movie was magical and I really recommend it.Trust me it will touch your heart and if it doesnt then maybe u dont have a heart 4 it to touch cuz this is one of the best movies ever!!!

July 26, 2007The Phantom of the Opera is a classic tale of love and loss. Even though many people think that Christine and Raoul should be together, i totally cry every time he tells her to go. He was so deeply in love with her, and he lets her go anyway; i find that absolutely enchanting.

July 19, 2007I have seen this movie sooo many times! I absolutly love it! Stupid Raoul... he messes it up for everyone. I would've picked the phantom! I could never tire with watching it. everytime the end comes, I think, maybe he'll win this time! But, of course, Raoul comes and ruins it. But I still love the movie!!! There isn't another movie like it!

July 14, 2007Okay this movie Awesome i love it!!!!!! It is really good and every time you watch it, it gets better and better. I will never forget the song think of me. It is the best song. Not to menchine that the singers are amazing and the dancers can dance!

July 10, 2007OMG I love this movie so much - definitely my favourite alongside Lord of the Rings and Pirates of the Caribbean. I am completely in love with the Phantom - he has the most amazing voice. Christine made such a bad decision - oh well - now I can have him instead ;) The story is so enchanting, romantic and makes me cry so much. Definitly gives an amazing message - and it taught me the true consequences through ignorant people judging people by looks. I'll never judge a person by their looks ever again. The Phantom is the most beautiful being on this earth. I am so obsessed with him *sigh*
