    i think this film is amazing!
    the colours = amazing
    the music= amazing
    the acting = amazing
    the singing= amazing
    and i thought it did the theator production justice!

    I own this. The only complaint I have is that Gerard Butler was cast as the Phantom. He can't sing!! Good actor, good-looking guy, but he can't sing.

    VERY WELL DONE, BUT I DIDN'T LIKE THE ENDING, EASY TO UNDERSTAND FOR A MUSICAL. LOVED THE RED SUIT AND MASK.

    What an amazing joy ride. The cast was wonderful, they hit them all on the nail. The performances are very memorable and I was very surprised about some of them. Who knew some of them could sing like that? Emmy is so stunning with talent, what a dangerous combination. Butler...wo...( read more)w...the whole package, love him. Wilson was great also. I was very amazed and loved it!

    I absolutely love this film. I am a bit of a musical geek but I think this film was done perfectly. Gerard Butler is incredible and makes the perfect phantom, if a little too dishy :P

    Best redo of a old movie I have seen. I have seen this movie at lest 25 times and it never gets old that is one of the quality's that I look for in a movie to me that shows a great director and producer to make a great movie that no matter how many times you watch it or how well ...( read more)you know it by heart it will never get old.

    It was ok, Emmy Rossum was fantastic, but Gerard Butler? Having seen the original play, no one has quite been able to get the right emotion of sadness for the phantom.
