October 21, 2009As sci-fi goes, it's a very good "what if" story which doesn't try to do anything too flashy.

October 5, 2009Rather dated, improbable, stiffly acted, ridiculous at times and the plot is filled with holes, some of them gapingly large, but I thoroughly enjoyed the movie for some reason. I was never bored.

August 9, 2009This movie's biggest flaw is the absolute and utter lack of acting talent in it's main characters and lack of chemistry between them. It does have an interesting story but the terrible acting just drags it down way too much.

November 18, 2007An entertaining movie. Nevertheless, the references to the Philadelphia experiment's background are vague: no mention to Einstein nor Tesla nor to the conspiracy theories around the subject. September 8, 2007The book was great. Also, I grew up in Charleston, SC, and in one scene, Charlie Hall, a local newscaster, has a few lines as a captain. Great movie.

June 18, 2007Another classic sci fi movie from the 80's. Michael Pare was brillant and for a 13 year old kid at the time, it was magical to watch. (today its probably faded with time, but hope to come across it again one day)

May 25, 2007Although this movie may lack a bit in the acting talent, the plot is so ineresting, it is easy to become caught up in the "time travel' and overlook the acting. The storyline is powerful.
