I enjoyed this one. I thought Robert Downey Jr and Molly Ringwald had great chemistry and made the film really work. Not to mention great supporting cast by Harvel Keital and Dennis Hopper. Story wasn't anything magnificent, but then again, most romantic movies don't. Overall it'...( read more)

This movie is all over the place, it doesn't even know what's going on. The acting isn't great, either. It's just not a great movie.

Do you know you have the plot of a rerun and the vision of a blind man? Oh wait I think it was a body of a botticello (sp) yeah yeah yeah it tried to be cute and ended up way corny. If you are trying to relive the 80's teen films this is one to avoid

Robert is enchanting in his first lead role at 20. You see the promise right from the beginning as he charms the girls and everyone else around him.
