Not as great as "The Pirate Movie" but still has enjoyable operetta music and fun scenes.
Who would actually want to sit through this whole thing in one sitting I don't know; but it is still SO much fun (& Rex is so cute hahahahaha)!!
i love Pirates of Penzance
i performed the musical about a year ago...it was a real treat
I thought the acting was over the top and the set designs were really cheesy (you could so tell that this movie was filmed in the 80's). Overall, it did have its funny moments, but it was just a bit ridiculous.
Annoyingly silly, yet somewhere along the line I started loving it, ludicrously.
