I love this movie, it's very old skool, which is one of the best things about it. Mark Harmon is ice cool in this and Sean Connerry makes me laught. Meg Ryan is also fab as always! Class!
The story wasn't too interesting, but I liked all the scenery around San Francisco since I was recently there.
The only thing i didn't like about this movie was Sean Connery's accent. Apparently that can't be helped.
Mark Harmon just has this auora about him, one that later in life makes him the infallable Special Agent Gibbs.
But right now, he's the young, good looking and cocky Jay Austin.
While this 'action' movie has pretty much everything but. It was a balanced mix and the action it did have was fun to watch.
This movie was so light however it felt more like a comedy and almost nothing is felt when a character became in peril.
Another good reason to watch this movie, its not that predictable as they dont give you much to work with and there are none of the cliche scenes you always see in these type of movies.
Definitly worth a watch
Lt. Col. Alan Caldwell: Now, are you sure you want to have a fight? Because I'm only gonna use my thumb.
Bully in Bar: Thumb?
Lt. Col. Alan Caldwell: My right thumb. Left one's too powerful for you.
A quite good 80's movie with Sean Connery in on the roles. Story is about a murder of a "military police" working at presidio and now they must investigate it.. Some great action scenes and a well made movie overall.
B-action. Totally ok but too much love and too little action for a movie like this... nice carchase though and Connery is always great...
Fantastic murder mystery with police detective Mark Harmon and military provost marshal Sean Connery investigating a murder on military base. Forgot the plot and enjoy seeing Connery excel in a tailor-made role.
Love the interaction between Sean Connery and Mark Harmon...very unfriendly but then they become friends. I could've done without the romance between Meg Ryan and Mark Harmon, though..they could've taken that part out entirely and it still would've been a great movie. I guess it adds to the tension between the two lead males tho.
Not really a big Sean C. fan, but he and Mark Harmon worked great in this! Some chemistry there... they should make another movie together sometime
Cop investigates murder blah blah clashes with military ho hum falls for daughter yadda yadda. Harmon and Ryan make a dreary and unconvincing couple, and the cliched plot barely holds the attention. Peter Hyams is normally a reliable popcorn movie maker, but this is pretty feeble stuff.
Mark Harmon is like a cardboard piece that is just for window dressing that doesnt need to be there.
Sena Connery, Mark Harmon, and Meg Ryan from 18 years ago. Whats not to like?! Not a bad action movie for Connery and Ryan fans or for people who want to see a movie with NCIS star Harmon when he was younger
