they should have remained a book. It wasn't terrible, it just didn't rock my socks, the way it potentially could have. It was just cliche, it wasn't funny. It had the basic skeleton of a good story, (the plot) but it lacked some really juicy meat.
Anne hathaways rocks
she has da fce of a princess and a party animal!!
I wish my country was under monarchy with her at the throne (i cn easily manipulate this simpleton!!)
It was nice to watch how she turned frm flab to fab
i really got a gud laugh wen she walked behind her gramma (da queen) while praticing the art of royal walks.......
i'm feeling generous. it had moments of being smart, and potential for helping people see their own potential for transformation, ... and i liked how the change challenged existing friendships, but ... i was disappointed.
15 years old private school student Mia Thermopolis (Anne Hathaway) lives with her mother Helen Thermopolis (Caroline Goodall) and cat Fat Louie in a San Francisco firehouse. Her father, Philippe Renaldi died two months earlier in a car crash. Mia learns from her mother that her paternal Grandmother named Queen Clarisse Renaldi (Julie Andrews) is visiting from Genovia to her grandma at the Genovian consulate & her father Phillip was the crown prince of Genovia & Mia is the next crown princess of Genovia to the Genovian throne because her father's death.
Hahahahahha loved it!!!! Anne is soo cool... seeing her change from here to get smart its so cool...really funny a whole new story really refreshing Loved it
This movie was AWESOME! i couldnt stop laughing, she just so clumsy but it was really funny. What i liked about the movie was the romantic in this movie was that Michael was beginning to show his feelings for Mia, and she didnt exactly realize.
Nice teen-family movie with the very elegant Julie Andrews, the charming Elizondo and the witty, awkward Hathaway. Lovely teen-pop tracks & score, and a comedy worth some chuckles. :)
This is a pretty good movie to watch. Anne Hathaway is excellent as the awkward teenage girl who turns into a beautiful princess. Although she complained a lot.
A very entertaining movie, with Julie Andrews playing a very dignified Queen. Anne Hathaway is brillantly awkward and funny. She is truly made for the silver screen!
I really enjoyed this movie. It was fun to see a fairly clean movie that was fun to watch. The acting of Julie Andrews and Anne Hathaway is superb and the story shines out hope. The director takes a very unlikely event and makes it believable, teaching us all something in the process. It was refreshing to see a teen film without all the sexual inuendos and crude language.
Very cute, and unique. Hector Elizondo and Julie Andrews should always flirt in films. They are also very much WIN, and carry the film. Anne Hathaway, though, plays a good klutz. What happened to her in the second film of this series?
I watched this for stupidities sake, and did at least enjoy Julie Andrews. Mainly just an awkward story that could easily have been written by any unpopular teenage girl.
