March 31, 2007this is a movie , which makes u strong to bear the everyday life problems , and tells that success is something ,which is not recieved easily to most of the people and the time when you really want to laugh to show ur happyness , you are not able to do that .it also depicts very beautifully SON-FATHER realtionship ,a love for his son....and the most important thing , this film also tells , TIME COMES to be happy , but the thing is , you hav to get it by any means,but not by snatching...

March 28, 2007prior to watching the movie, i was expecting that the story would depict the saying that happiness is a journey and not a destination. but the movie showed that happiness is more than a simple journey, it is actually a struggle. i was really touched, and as i conjured up the story's message, i realized that
happyness is not the absence of sorrow but a struggle to be happy making others happy -

March 22, 2007The overall plot was great, but Will Smith had no resemblance whatsoever to the actual man whom this movie was portrayed after. On Oprah, the actual man (now a millionaire) didn't want Will Smith to the play the role at first. Did anyone see that episode of Oprah where she interviewed the actual man, his son and Will Smith? Will Smith's make up in this movie was awful...they could have done a better job!

will and his son, really did a great job ... a moving, heart-breaking, tear-jerking TRUE story...
I would recommend it to everyone....
This is a man who should teach us to live and value things propertly.......
