Many viewers may find this movie hard to swallow because of the sensitive nature of it, but it is a very good movie.

The good parts of this movie had to do with the sensitive nature, at the beginning of the movie, you are not so sure of Dot, you sympathise with her and the tre...( read more)atment she receives from her step sister, but there is something about her that you just cannot pin point. Elisha Cuthbert plays a great role and for a young lady so young in the business to play that role is commendable. I felt that the mother should have played a bigger role in the movie. Her role was a bit boring. It is only in the end, she does SOMETHING! I did enjoy the movie, it was suspenseful, had a lot of intrigue and twists to it and it highlighted some issues that teens obviously had in school.

The language was really graphic, kinda disturbing...as was the movie in general. Other than that, it was good though - better than I thought it would be.

"A disturbing drama that is challenging to contemplate...but so repulsive and devoid of redeeming material that afterward, you're certain it doesn't deserve to exist"...

This movie was slighty creepy, very dark, and depressing. If you are feeling like in a weird mood, get this movie. It wasnt terrible, but if you are turned off by dads getting it on with there daughters then never mind.

This is a great drama that might have slipped many by. Starring Camilla Belle and Elisha Cuthbert both giving strong performances in this dark, brooding drama. A bit like American Beauty but with a darker tone.

Piece of shit. I hated everything about it. There wasn't a single ounce of truth, subtlety, entertainment, plot, character development, or tone throughout the whole thing. Instead, the film uses it's grimy look to tell the story. It fails.

I think every character is twisted in their own way, not just the daughter and father here. You have Dot (Camilla Belle) and her silence to everything she witnesses. She can say something, but doesn't. It's like she enjoys keeping the secret of the father and daughters sexual rea...( read more)ltionship with eachother. You have Ninas (Elisha Cuthbert) friend and her lustful attraction to Dots "boyfriend". Then you have the "boyfriend" and his fantasy with quiet Dot. The mother is also in her pill popping daze, oblivious to what's going on around her. Then you have Nina and her sexual love/hate relationship with her father who also thinks he's sick for what he's doing to his daughter. A great psychological thriller.
