The Real Buddy Holly Story
This documentary follows the career of Buddy Holly from his beginnings in Lubbock Texas to his untimely death in a 1959 plane crash. It is a very personal look into the private and professional life of one of the great contributers to rock and roll. The viewer sees vintage film footage as he performs some of his most memorable songs: "Oh Boy", "That'll be the Day, and "Peggy Sue".
