Utterly boring throughout, which is a shame because I feel a lot more could have been made from this storyline. I can?t really call this an anti-climax as that would suggest there a build up before hand.

I started to watch this, and I almost fell asleep. Luckily I was able to return it for another movie that was much better.

This wasn't as bad as I'd anticipated. Not a fan of Ms. Gellar, so that's always a bad sign, but she didn't suck in this. It was nice to see Peter O'Brien in a big role. Overall, not great, but it kept us entertained.

Sarah Gellar has done a lot of horror. This one happens to be well thought out and clever. A good performance,e and neat plot twists. I like her other films, (except for the idiotic Buffy), but this one really seems to stand out. I was impressed and pleasantly surprised. Now...( read more)

absolutly rubbish! was not even worth watching....most of the 'mystery' was basically trying to rip off other movies that make you wonder whats going on but done shit, so it makes no sense whatsoever - terrible terrible film.

Could be interchangable with The Ring/The Grudge/Every other creepy-assed movie inspired by a Japanese creepy-ass movie. Sarah Michelle Gellar is still hot though.

So unnecessary. I was expecting a solid horror but I couldn't believe that I had this crappy movie. Don't waste time on this.
Critic Reviews
Gellar, who isn't bad with comedy, can't do drama, even in the chocolate-colored hair she wears this time. full review
Sarah Michelle Gellar may have ditched the Grudge franchise, but her predilection for illogical horror continues with The Return. full review

July 20, 2008Only 80 cheezy minutes of wasted time... lol. Don't buy or rent this. Steal, borrow or forget... movies under 90 mins usually suck, IMO... haha ;-)

July 1, 2007Not a fan of Gellar, especially in comatose roles of complete and utter boredom. This movie would have been good.. if it were completely different. This movie is NOT scary. Don't expect to be seeing a horror/thriller/suspense movie. It is a slow drawn out mystery that really is missing the mystery segment.
