Perfect example of how someone can pick up a good story and just reach next to the producers and say: "Hey I got it: why don't we make a sequel out of it? I even got the name already! Let's call it The Ring Two, and let's make it as senseless as 50 Cent's music!"

I loved The Ring, so it kills me to have to give The Ring Two such low score. Unfortunately, I have to. Not a remake of the sequel but a sequel to the remake means this film can examine some fairly original territory. Unfortunately it doesn't. cryptic does not mean interesting; in this case it means plot holes the size of Jupiter. plus the visuals are completely uninspiring.
I don't know what happened....it's like they used all the good ideas for the last one leaving crap ideas for this flick.
