not quite as scary as the first to me, but had some good creepy parts in it. When that girl is all walkin around or crawling that gets me every time. And that little kid just creeps me in general, so to creepys make a sorta scary.
This is not technically a "remake", it's an American made sequel to the first remake that has nothing in common with the original Japanese Ring 2 sequel. It's not badly done, but it's not great
the japanese version was predictably better of course, nevertheless i still enjoyed it
The videotape is at it again. This time there's a few more jumps and few more plot holes. Claiming more victims faster than ever before will they really catch Samara one last time? Fear comes full circle.
A sequel was inevitable and it has to be said that this ended up being a better watch than I was expecting.

it was a pretty boring movie, rather predictable and isnt the type that will make u jump at shadows after watching it....haha just looking in the mirror XD
This isn't really my genre but... I didn't think it was depressingly bad or anything, it's just not really my thing.
I like this movie but it's not realy all that scary i mean i girl cimbing out of a well it's like gosh!!!!!! Not Rly that scary!!!
the little girls creepy and the bit were the boys in the mirror but its a good film (Y)

The first part was better but the second is also good. I think the movie is thrilling but the end is not very good. Too easy Rachel can beat Samantha.
The first movie wasn't that interesting to me - I don't think I'd take time to watch the sequel.
The 1st japanese was good.
The 1st american wasn't.
But the american sequel was way better. It stays anyway an average movie.
If you've seen the ring then you know what to expect. Therefore, not as scary.
It's a bit silly but Naomi Watts is at least good in the movie. The boy being possessed by the girl reminded me a lot of when the boy was possessed by Freddy in New Nightmare though. The direction is at least unique though. Plus the girl is still creepy.
Perfect example of how someone can pick up a good story and just reach next to the producers and say: "Hey I got it: why don't we make a sequel out of it? I even got the name already! Let's call it The Ring Two, and let's make it as senseless as 50 Cent's music!"
