Critic Reviews

  • Steve Crum, Kansas City Kansan

Forced gags, and Hope & Crosby creak along in the last Road picture.

  • Ken Hanke, Mountain Xpress (Asheville, NC)

Occasionally bright attempt at recapturing the old 'Road' pictures doesn't quite make it

This movie is the worst of the Road series, I don't know why they decided to make another one in the sixties, they were getting old and the writer doesn't know what's funny anymore. The story is stupid and doesn't make much sense towards the end either.

"Dual Carburetors!" The last of the "Road" films feels almost as viable as the first. Credit Mr. Hope and a cast that includes Dorothy Lamour, Joan Collins, Dean Martin, David Niven, Peter Sellers, Frank Sinatra and Robert Morley.

Final Road movie is not quite as fun as some of the others, but still worthwhile.
