The highlight is the strong cast of Scottish extras; a few pointless additions to the plot and a slightly pathetic performance toward the end on Ulrich Thomsen's part brings the whole thing down.
A stunningly well made and emotionally powerful film set in picturesque Scotland. The film features lush scenery, stand- out performances and a story that will move you time and time again. A beautiful story with a heart of gold.
This film looked very innocent at the beginning, but it progressively started to move the right strings. It is more of a romantic drama, even though it has its occasional good taste jokes. I would certainly recommend it, a refreshing honest piece of art.
