Jenny is being forced to sell her shop to the Department of Water and Power (DWP) due to eminent domain, and is being pressured into accepting the money they''ve offered for her property. Regardless of the legal advice Jenny receives, she refuses to let the corporate giant take the one remaining pillar of her inner city neighborhood. She declines the money and decides to take on the DWP in court, all the while keeping the battle hidden from her outrageous employees and clientele.
absolute crap! it was predictable and half the movie was a bunch of talking about nothing concerned with the stupid storyline. On top of that the filming was boring and whoever was in charge of the audio mixing should be shot. Don't watch me >D
Cute and touching. Typical salon movie. The acting was not bad. Kym Whitley made it even better. Vivica was bomb too...
I'm not against gay people but in this particular movie "DeeDee" got on my nerves....eww!
And the white girl made me sick! A character that was not necessarily needed in my opinion.
what? another barbershop/beautyshop/salon/hairdresser movie?? is there no other place to rendezvous? can't say im lookg fwd to this if it's just another cliche...
how many times are they gonna make movies about what stereotypical, 2 dimensiotnal black characters do while getting their hair done? there are what, 3 Barbershops AND Beauty Parlor already? PLEASE make a movie where black people can interact somewhere OTHER than a hair emporium. it's rude... and unoriginal.
