OMG I loved all 3 of these movies and not sure if they would make a 4th or if they even wanted to but these were all very cute movies and I love watching them with my husband and son on and around Christmas.

The sequel to Santa Claus. He has neglected his son, who ends up on the naughty list. He has to go back to spend time with his son and his magical powers start to weaken, so he needs to find a Mrs Claus to restore his powers.

Scott Calvin has been Santa Claus for eight years with loyal elves at his side. Everything is going like clock work until he reads the clause that threatens all of Christmas. Scott, Santa Claus needs to marry and have a Mrs. Clause to keep the spirit of Christmas alive. Now Scott...( read more) must find the perfect wife to fill Mrs. Claus?s shoes.
The Santa Clause 2: The Mrs. Claus is a failure where it could have been a really good family movie. The movie lost all the charm the first one possessed and was even really boring at most parts. Sometimes Disney goes too far with their sequels and this is a prime example of that. The Santa Clause 2 only gets one Santa laugh out of five for being a failure at all aspects.

Claudia Puig, USA Today

If you value your time and money, find an escape clause and avoid seeing this trite, predictable rehash. full review

November 1, 2002
Liam Lacey, Globe and Mail

Not so much funny as aggressively sitcom-cute, it's full of throwaway one-liners, not-quite jokes, and a determined TV amiability that Allen personifies. full review

November 1, 2002
Roger Ebert, Chicago Sun-Times

More of the same tinsel-draped malarkey that made the original film into a big hit, but it's more engaging, assured and funny, and I liked it more. full review

October 31, 2002
A.O. Scott, The New York Times

It's mildly sentimental, unabashedly consumerist ... studiously inoffensive and completely disposable. full review

October 31, 2002
Steven Rea, Philadelphia Inquirer

Has the disjointed feel of a bunch of strung-together TV episodes. full review
