The Santa Clause 3 was in a word...Jarlsberg. Pure cheese, and not the tasty kind.
I did think the first Santa Clause was a cute little Christmas film, but they have gotten worse, as they go on. This one was not good. Not even Martin Short, who can be a comedy master, could sav...( read more)e this steaming piece of moldy cheese.
The one and a half stars, is simple for this films two saving graces : The always great Alan Arkin, and the ever stunning and beautiful Ann-Margaret.

Now with past changed, Scott must reclaim his job as Santa for Jack Frost.
The Santa Clause 3 is a warm family movie. The movie is not as good as the original, not many sequels are, but this movie works. The movie is short, sweet and to the point. The Santa Clause three is fun family entertainment that works on all levels and receives three Santa laughs out of the five because it gets you in the Christmas spirit.

Jack Frost gains control of Santa's workshop and turns it into a Las Vegas-style theme park -- supposedly a hideous inversion of Christmas values. So blandly commercialized is the movie's vision of th... full review

This film turned out to be better than I thought. Martin Short portrayed Jack Frost really well. I liked the fact they used some footage from the 1st film and had the same characters as in the previous movies. A cute film for the Holiday Season!!! 2 1/2 stars

I cany wait to see it I love Tim Allen and Martin Short they are funny actors ... better together .. Remember Jungle 2 Jungle ??? I think it is a good idea teaming them up again. It's not always about the story but about the actors who play the characters and put their own pizazz into them. But whit the hey everyone is entitled to their own opinion. :-)

Looks like they'll be making The Santa Claus movies for just about every story based around Christmas. The thing is while most of us think its a sequel too many the younger veiwers are probably jumping for joy. Of course that can be said of most movie sequels.
