This movie was ok. It was pretty faithful to the book that Nathaniel Hawthorne wrote. It was made kind of silly though by the two characters who were supposed to be the comic relief. Nothing special, even though it seemed kind of plain.
The suffering of a woman because of love made her the subject of comdemnation.A classic with a taste.
