It's a spinoff of a sequel that completely changes the character the spinoff is for. With that, it's still fun, the action is solid, the soundtrack is good, and the Rock is charismatic.

Stupid and boring at times. fails in every aspect this popcorn fellow wanted to be: smart, original, cool adventure movie and action. Very dissapointing. Any "The Mummy" film is better, except for the third one.

Holy crap. Is Kelly Hu hot as liquid rocks or is it just me? Dwayne is always fun to watch.
It was a nice enough popcorn movie. Nothing spectacular but enough to waste an evening with.

Lots of enjoyable fights from start to finish. starring world famous wrestler The Rock...after watching this you gonna love him...good action movie.
The part where The Rock is buried and has huge ants coming to eat him and he keeps blowing at them is just hilarious. All around good movie.
If you watch it as an independent film from the franchise its not half bad.

The Rock is - The Scorpion King. He isn't much for acting, but he is great for violent sword fighting roles like this one.

did not like this. dwayne was great but i thought the script needed something more
the thing about the mummy movies that kept it entertaining is mostly the mindless effects + action...but i guess you could trade that for the rock...
