The Screen Illusion (L'illusion Comique)
Pierre Corneille's 17th Century comedy-drama The Theatrical Illusion gets a 21st Century update in this screen adaptation from director and screenwriter Mathieu Amalric. Alcandre (Herve Pierre) is the concierge and house detective at a luxury hotel in Paris, where he looks after the needs of his tenants and watches their actions via a network of surveillance cameras.
