Why are all these people experts!? Why should we trust them? They're feeding us some supernatural half-truth about positive thinking and wishing. It's a comfortable, spoiled, middle class dream that ignores the fact that people cannot really change some really tragic events.

Brainwash. Empowerment for the indiscriminating consumer, wrapped up in mystical packaging to lend an enigmatic quality to something that is as simple as "using your mind." I have to think about things to attain them? Noooooo way!

Swindlery of the most dangerous form, The Secre...( read more)t posits itself as something life-changing, but in reality it only acts as an exploit for people who are too deluded to take control of their own lives and need a shitty DVD to teach them how. It is a truly dangerous attack on individualist thinking.

......So many philosophers and great thinkers put forth their thoughts and analysis on what their opinion is to reach success in life. Their outcome - look at things positively.

Honestly, a sheep's stomach isn't as tripeful as this moronic and blatantly obvious insight into the ...( read more)reasonings behind past success. Any person with a notion of intelligence would look at this garbage and see only preaching of an order that makes mormons look like a secret clan. The messages in this are not only bleedingly obvious, but they are a fundamental that, simply put, can't be used properly in this society.

I would be giving this resounding borefest half a star, but I didn't see the film in it's entirety (and that is a very rare occurrance for me). Also, on a side note, I myself am a thinker, and not only could I comprehend what these tools were bantering about, but I had the wit to dismiss it. So should you.

I saw it all the way through, and read the book, and proved it in my own life. Those who are critical of this movie, are also the Obama Kool-Aid drinkers. The Secret is for real. I'm surprised someone would post anything unless thry actually did watch the whole movie, and read the book. partial views just don't count. Go lap at messiah Obama's feet.

I have probably seen this movie about 15 times or more and I can't seem to get enough of it. If you have the DVD, I suggest watching at least once every day or no less than 2 times a week.

"The worst testimonial was the woman who claimed to have tried to not look at or acknowledge overweight people."

I havent seen this but that sounds like a great idea. If I had done that I wouldnt have met my best friend or fiance. Idiots.
